Fall is the perfect time to start working out at Woodall's Group Fitness class!
Not too hot. Not too cold. Time to get into some good habits before those calorie-heavy holidays start rearing up in a few months. Build up a little muscle and start burning those calories off all the time. Remember a pound of muscle will help burn calories ALL the time!
Studies estimate that for each pound of muscle that you add to your body, you will burn an additional 35 to 50 calories per day. So, an extra 10 pounds of muscle will burn approximately 350 to 500 calories a day, or an extra pound of fat every 7 to 10 days, without making any other changes! Now THAT'S a return on your time investment!
